Lions Club members prepare and serve a good old-fashioned
chuckwagon dinner and provide great entertainment to
round out the evening. Proceeds for the evening benefit
various Lions activities in the area. Tickets or

after-harvest celebration takes place on Fleming's main
street. The day is filled with a parade, games, booths,

Saturday in July

- This annual event
features hot cars and old-fashioned fun! The day's draw
is an old-fashioned car show, with everything from
Dragsters to antique Jags, and trophies for the
winners.
- The day also includes
music, food and cruisin' down main. For car entry

Lighting

week of December

- Residents come and
observe the official lighting of Fleming's Christmas
Tree. The night also offers hot chocolate, craft booths
and Christmas carols.

- Haxtun's Corn
Festival
- held the last
Saturday in September

- This annual event
is by far Haxtun's biggest. It celebrates what everyone
hopes is the end of a plentiful corn harvest. The day
includes a parade down main street, craft fair, street
games, tractor pulls, a demolition derby, and much more!

Christmas celebration! Local businesses stay open late,
carolers can be seen and heard on main street, and a
craft fair and pancake supper are housed in our community
center.

- This night of
Renaissance hilarity is put on by Haxtun High School
students and staff. Peasants travel the room selling
silverware and telling jokes. Meanwhile the king and
queen pass judgment on guests, sometimes making them sing
for their supper or promptly beheading guests who have
