Phillips County Commissioners' meetings to be broadcast via Zoom

Due to the Governor’s and President’s directive to practice social distancing, the County Commissioners’ meetings will be held in the Biesemeier Room at the Event Center until further notice. Also, due to these restrictions, the public will not be able to attend any meeting in person.

The open meeting requirements of the Colorado Sunshine Law state that meetings with two or more public officials must be open to the public. To comply with the law, the commissioners’ meetings will be broadcast via Zoom. Anyone with a device connected to the internet can attend any meeting by going to https://zoom.us/j/566396245?pwd=U0N0VzN3eXY3Nmlla3NSU1IzME1vUT09.

To speak during the public comment portion of a meeting (9:05-9:30 a.m.) you may use your device’s microphone or dial in to either (253) 215-8782 or (301) 715-8592. Also available during the meeting is a chat feature that can used to direct questions and comments to the commissioners. Those may or may not be acknowledged during the meeting but will be addressed as soon as possible.


An actual meeting appointment (9:35 a.m. through close of the meeting) can be made 48 hours prior to the meeting time, but again, only online access will be possible. If you have questions about this unique situation, please contact the Administration Office at (970) 854-2454.
