It is not every day that an Aerospace Company pays a visit to Haxtun, but that is just what happened last week. Colonel Joe Rice at Lockheed Martin Space Systems delivered 100 face shields and 100 isolation gowns to Haxtun Hospital. Colonel Rice is the Director of Government Relations for Lockheed Martin Space Systems.

With five combat tours of duty in Iraq and one peacekeeping tour in Bosnia, Colonel Rice knows the importance of those on the front lines having what they need to do their job. Christie Lee, with Lockheed Martin Space Systems, drove the supplies to Haxtun and thanked the HHD team for their daily essential work.

Above, Haxtun Hospital District Chief Executive Officer Dewane Pace, HHD Chief Nursing Officer Lea White, HHD Nurse Lori Wisdom and Christie Lee, with Lockheed Martin Space Systems, are pictured with the personal protective equipment.
