This month, nearly 5,000 United States drop-off locations across the Nation open to collect shoebox gifts for children overseas during Operation Christmas Child's National Collection Week, Nov. 16-23.

United States families, churches and groups are busy transforming empty shoeboxes into fun gifts filled with toys, school supplies and hygiene items.

Haxtun Berean Bible Church has linked arms with the Haxtun community and surrounding towns in Northeast Colorado to help children around the world experience the true meaning of Christmas. Those shoebox gifts show God's love to children facing difficult circumstances and worldwide pandemic.

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan's Purse, an International Christian relief and evangelism organization headed by Franklin Graham. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to children around the world and together with local churches worldwide, to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Haxtun Berean Bible Church is a drop off location during collection week. They will be open to receive shoeboxes Nov. 16-23: Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to noon and 2-4 p.m .; Friday, 10 a.m. to noon and 4-8 p.m .; Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m .; Sunday 1-3 p.m .; and Monday, 9-11 a.m.

The Haxtun community is invited to bring packed boxes, items to be used to pack boxes or monetary donations to the Church next week.
