Haxtun Police Department registered sex offender Michael Woodward, 41, Haxtun, in the 700 block of South Washington Avenue in Haxtun last week.

According to Police Chief Tanya Mayhew, Woodward is required to register annually following a 2014 conviction in Sedgwick County for internet sexual exploitation of a child.

Woodward registered with the Haxtun PD on Feb. 17; the day following an arrest for failure to do so by his required annual date.
