Wildcats finish week at 1-1 with two regular-season games remaining

The Fleming Wildcats went 1-1 over the past week in back-to-back home contests. The Wildcats defeated the Stratton/Liberty Knighted Eagles on Friday before falling to the 2A Sedgwick County Cougars on Saturday. The win and loss put the Wildcats at 5-5 overall on the season; they remain at 2-2 in the North Central league.

The Wildcats jumped to an early six-point lead in the opening quarter on Friday night against the Knighted Eagles, 20-14. They expanded that advantage by another eight points before the close of the half to hold a healthy 40-26 lead.
