Three wrestlers make podium at State

The 2021 wrestling season didn't end as three State competitors from the Sedgwick County/Fleming wrestling team hoped it would. Despite that, all three represented their team and communities well and should be proud of their accomplishments.

The lone competitor wrestling out of Fleming High School at the State Tournament, 152-pound junior Hayden Burr finished his season 20-5 and with a fourth place finish at the Colorado State Wrestling Tournament. Burr had a tough start and had to battle back on the consolation side of the bracket. He lost his quarterfinal match to James Brown of Peyto...
