The Haxtun Bulldogs opened the 2021 track season competing in the Fort Morgan Invitational Saturday, May 8. It is the first time in two years the team took the track due to the cancelation last year’s season due to the pandemic.

Top-10 results from the meet on Saturday are as follows:

Girls

100-meter dash: Taylor Schram, fifth place, 14.36.

200-meter dash: Allie Thompson, eighth, 31.33.

Four-by-100 meter relay: Third place, 55.69.

Four-by-200 meter relay: Second place, 2:01.48.

Triple jump: Thompson, second place, 32 feet, 7.5 inches.

Boys

400-meter dash: Joshua Wright, 10th place, 58.78.
