Phillips County opens application process for second round of Coronavirus Relief funds

Phillips County is now accepting a second round of applications from Phillips County businesses for available Coronavirus Relief funds.

Phillips County understands that our local businesses are still trying to recover from the very challenging economic climate due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the State mandates associated with it. As Phillips County was awarded additional relief funds, we are expanding the original business grant program.

Any county business which was operational prior to mid-March 2020 and continues to be in business today, experienced a loss of income due to business interruptions and/or unbudgeted expenses directly related to COVID-19, could qualify for a grant award, even if the business received an earlier award from the County. Those businesses which have already been awarded grant funds will not be required to complete a full application but must submit a 2020 tax return as well as a year-to-date profit and loss statement.

New applicants can pick up applications at the Phillips County Courthouse, Administrative Office, 221 South Interocean Avenue in Holyoke or it can be found online at phillipscounty.colorado.gov.

All applications must be received by June 25 at the Phillips County Administrative Office in Holyoke. No late or incomplete applications will be considered.

Questions regarding the application process should be directed to County Administrator Laura Schroetlin at (970) 854-3778.
