Beverly Jean (Hargis) Anderson died on Aug. 12, 2022 at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush at the age of 86.

Beverly was born Sept. 26, 1935, in Pierce to Charles Hargis and Bernice (Mackay) Hargis. She attended school in Pierce, graduating in 1953. While in high school she was active in the drama club, was a cheerleader and graduated as class valedictorian. This is also where she met her high school sweetheart Leonard.
