The annual J. Jeffryes Memorial run/walk lines up at 8 a.m. along Colorado Avenue. This event raises money for scholarships awarded each year to graduating seniors of Haxtun High School. Organizers announce winners of the run at 8:30 a.m. on the main stage.

Also at 8:30 am., line up for the parade begins in the elementary grade school parking lot on North Colorado Avenue. Participants can register for the parade at the Haxtun Community Center. Float judging takes place at 9:15 a.m.

The Kiddie Parade will kick off the 101st annual Haxtun Corn Festival parade at 9:45 a.m. followed by the parade at 10 a.m. Kiddie Parade line up occurs at the Berean Bible Church in the north parking lot.
