Feb. 23, 1938

Mrs. Elizabeth Skold, wife of Lloyd Skold, and the mother of two small children, was summoned by death Monday evening of this week at Mercy Hospital in Denver. She passed away on her fifth anniversary. She was 28 years of age last August, and was born in reared at Mound City, Missouri. Her two sons are Glen, age four, and Melvin, age one.

Beginning March 1, the Haxtun State Bank will remain open during the noon hour and will close one hour earlier in the afternoon. Hours will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
