Wildcats make podium 11 times at State Track; 2 school records broken

KALLY KIRKWOOD passes North Park's Abby Altwin in the 200-meter dash on Saturday afternoon. She finished fourth in the event and took the Championship in the 400-meter-dash the same day with a time of 58.60.

The Fleming Wildcat track team competed in a busy and successful weekend at the State Track Meet at Jeff. Co. Stadium last Thursday, May 18-Saturday, May 20.

The girls' team broke two school records, took Championships in two events and finished in fourth place overall.

Kally Kirkwood took top honors in the 400-meter-dash after breaking the school record with a time of 58.60.

The girls' 800 sprint medley relay team of Lexi Schaefer, Siena Donnelson, Maddy Harms and Kirkwood broke the school record with a time of 1:53.35.

Fleming High School competed in 15 events at the meet and took the podium...
