4-hour power outage planned for Oct. 5

The Town of Haxtun will experience a power outage the morning of Saturday, Oct. 5. The outage is expected from 8 a.m. to noon.

The Town of Haxtun will be working with the Western Area Power Administration as part of the planned outage to perform preventative maintenance.

"WAPA identified a potential problem out at the substation that they need to fix. In order to do so they need to disconnect the power for the town," said Ron Carpenter, Haxtun Town Superintendent.
