The Bulldogs went from the gridiron to the hardwood in exactly a week. One week to the day from clinching the 8-man State Football Championship in Pueblo, the Bulldogs hosted the Wildcats from Fleming in the season opener of the 2024-25 basketball season and despite just three days of practice, Haxtun secured a 52-point win over the Wildcats to start the season with a bang.
