130-POUND FRESHMAN Kinsleigh Jerman finished second in her first high school wrestling competition. She is pictured pinning Natalie Prince from Weld Central in 1:35. Jerman finished her day in Strasburg at 4-1.
The Sedgwick County/Fleming girls wrestling team began their season on Dec. 7 in Strasburg. They started the morning with duals against Wiggins, Severance and Thunder Ridge. The girls won all three duals. The girls were then put into individual brackets and participated in an individual tournament. They finished in second place with 112 points behind Severance with 113 points.
Results from wrestlers competing on the team out of Fleming and Haxtun are as follows:
