Haxtun PD makes arrest

On April 7, the Haxtun Police Department, with the assistance of the Phillips County Sheriff's Office, arrested Nathan Glanz, 37, Yuma, after he agreed to meet an underage 14-year-old female with plans on engaging in a sexual encounter.

Glanz was taken into custody without incident and is charged with enticement of a child, internet luring of a child, attempted sex assault on a child, two counts of internet sexual exploitation of a child, driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, driving while license under restraint and driving a vehicle other than one equipped with an interlock device.

Glanz was held without bond until advised by a judge.
