Gwendolyn Gibson Field passed from this life to her new address in heaven on Easter afternoon, April 12, 2020 in Holyoke at the age of 99.

Gwen (a.k.a. Sparkie, Granny Goose, Gwenie, Mama and Mahso) was born to Harry Bryant Gibson and Maude West (Perkins) Gibson on Aug. 23, 1920 in Manasota, Miss. The youngest of three children, her father was a surgeon who died when Gwen was only 18 months old.
