Carl Paul Etl entered into eternal life on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at the age of 92.

He was born on Aug. 15, 1927 to Paul and Sophie (Riter) Etl. Carl grew up on the family farm south of Fleming in the St. Peter's community; one of eight children. He attended St. Peter's Catholic School. He was dedicated to helping on the family farm.

Carl served in the Merchant Marines and the Army.  He met his wife Anna T. Kercel and they were married on May 7, 1953. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary this year.
