Barbara Ann Fix passed away on Feb. 26, 2021 at the Haxtun Health Extended Care Unit age the age of 82.

Barb was born on May 30, 1938 in Greeley to Glenn T. and Irene (McCoy) Hendon. She graduated from Sterling High School and married Howard Fix Sr. on July 8, 1956 in Sterling.

While staying at home to raise her four sons, Barb enjoyed crafting, knitting, word puzzles and playing cards.

Barb is survived by her husband Howard, Haxtun; sons Howard Jr. and wife Julie, Sterling, Chad and wife Lynn, St. Clairsville, Ohio, Randy and wife Vicki, Ekalaka, Mont., and Trever and wife Roxanne, Haxtun; brother Max Hendon and wife Linda, Littleton; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Glenn Hendon Jr. and granddaughter Nikki Lynn Fix.

Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.

Baucke Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
