Haxtun Health is beginning the demolition of its recently acquired main street location in the coming weeks. The community can expect to see more activity around the site beginning the week of April 19.

Haxtun Health has been working with the Town of Haxtun as well as Ensminger Construction on the demolition plan which is slated to last a few weeks. The community should expect to see partial disruption to main street access at times as the project progresses. For the safety of our community members, Haxtun Health and the Town of Haxtun are urging the community to avoid unnecessary travel around the site during this time. Crews have been diligently working the past few months to mitigate asbestos from the site as well as removal of historical items from the building that will be integrated into the new space. Securing the exterior shared walls with the adjoining businesses has also been addressed. Adjoining businesses might choose to alter their business hours during this time based on the progression of the project. Please stay tuned to local news sources for updates from these businesses.
