Discussion continues among members of the Haxtun Town Council regarding the possibility of a major street project in 2022. The project, if approved by voters in November, would allow for a complete overhaul of nearly 40 blocks worth of streets in Haxtun next year.

For the past few months, council members, Superintendent Ron Carpenter and Clerk Karie Wilson have spent a number of hours discussing the possible street project including establishing figures and researching ballot question options.
