ADDISON OLIVER, Haxtun High School freshman, is a part of the Pan Handle High School rodeo team in Nebraska. Last weekend she competed in Callahan, Neb. and North Platte, Neb., earning a spot at State finals in the poles division.
On Saturday in Callahan, Oliver finished second in poles out of 70 competitors; on Sunday she finished in sixth place out of 70. In barrels, she took 26th out of 66 on Saturday and 16th out of 74 on Sunday.
The top 30 in each division earn a spot at State and Oliver currently sits in the 16th spot in poles. The top 10 at State move onto Nationals.
