Kids earn kiddie parade prizes at Saturday's event

Bikes and trikes decorated in all sorts of themes, mostly to the theme of the 100th annual Corn Festival, “Cheers to 100 Years,” kicked off the parade in downtown Haxtun on Saturday. Results from the Kiddie Parade are as follows:

Miscellaneous: Ainsley Hoelscher, first, Otto Kurtzer and Ryker Lightsey, second, and Treygin and Zakiyah, third.

Preschool and kindergarten: Amber Edwards, first, Jaymie Ham, second, and Josie Garcia, third.

First and second grade: Mollie Ham, first, Victoria Clark, second, Emelia Garcia, third.

Third and fourth grade: Lilly Norwood, first, Tavi Brady, second, Lydia...
