Street Game winners announced after festival

Egg toss, shoe kick, three-legged race — Corn Festival goers of all ages gathered downtown Haxtun for the popular street games. The 100th annual celebration was one for the books. Results from 2021 street games are as follows:

Shoe kick

Girls, four and under: Clara Dennis, first, Ainsley Hoelscher, second, Ava Capps, third.

Boys, four and under; Joel Salyards, first, AJ Crossland, second, Uriah Scheele, third.

Girls, five to seven: Kortlyn Carpenter, first, Mollie Ham, second, Lydia Salyards, third.

Boys, five to seven: Pete Salyards, first, Lio Ayala, second, Marek Brady, third.
