Colorado Preps Weekly

Another State tournament is in the books, as volleyball took center stage last weekend. The region was very well represented at the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs and quite a bit of hardware was brought home by area teams.

The Class 1A field was loaded with local squads, with the top eight seeds (Briggsdale, Fleming, Haxtun, Merino, Wiley, Stratton, Idalia, Cheraw) all calling Eastern Colorado home. The 12th-seed, Genoa-Hugo/Karval also represented the area.
