Registered Dietitian, Haley Edwards, who has 18 years of experience in the nutrition field will host the class. Edwards will be sharing her knowledge of general wellness with an emphasis on how to get back on track while living with diabetes. Other topics presented throughout the course will include fitness, cooking healthy meals and managing medications. Guest speakers from Haxtun Health include Wendy Evans, Director of Physical Therapy, and a Haxtun Health Pharmacists for a medication review.

This interactive class provides a casual atmosphere where discussion and questions are welcomed and encouraged. Each participant will be leaving with an abundance of knowledge on how to move forward and make healthier choices along with some giveaways and prizes. One prize will include a Smart Scale that can read weight, BMI and body fat percentage which gives an individual a snapshot of their overall wellbeing, allowing them to gauge their progress.
