TANYA MAYHEW, former Chief of Police for the Town of Haxtun, received her retired badge from Haxtun Mayor Brandon Biesemeier in an Open House in honor of her retirement on Sunday afternoon, April 10, at the Haxtun Community Center. Family, friends, colleagues and community members gathered in celebration of Mayhew's 19 years with the Haxtun Police Department. She served the community as the Chief of Police for 18 of those years.
