Tracksters make top-10 showings in several events at Holyoke

Fleming tracksters competed at the Holyoke Invitational last Saturday, April 9. Top-10 placers from the meet are as follows:

Girls

100-meter dash: Zoey Vandenbark, first place, 13.42; Whitney Chintala, seventh, 14.19.

200-meter dash: Maddy Harms, fifth, 30.15.

BEAU ASHBURN, Fleming Wildcat freshman, passes competitors in the 1,600-meter run at Holyoke last weekend. Sophomore David Betley, left, also prepares to move up a spot in the race. Ashburn finished the race in sixth place; Betley finished in 11th.

400-meter dash: Kally Kirkwood, first, 1:02.60; Maddy Zink, ninth, 1:18.42.

1,600-meter run: Madi Serrato, first, 6:18.17.

Four-by-100-meter relay: Team of Lexi Schaefer, Chintala, Kirkwood and Vandenbark, first, 53.35.

Four-by-200-meter relay: Team of Schaefer, Chintala, Kirkwood and Vandenbark, second, 1:53.21.

800-meter sprint medley relay: Team of Zink, Laney Schliesser, Harms and Serrato, third, 2:11.33.

Triple jump: Schaefer, first, 31 feet, 8.25 inches.

Pole vault: Serrato, fourth, six feet, 10 inches.

Shot put: Schliesser, ninth, 27 feet, one inch.

Boys

1,600-meter run: Beau Ashburn, sixth, 6:03.63.
