Haxtun FBLA qualifies 12 for Nationals

April 17-19 the Haxtun Future Business Leaders of America Chapter attended State FBLA, where students competed in a variety of events and attended many business leadership workshops. Twelve Haxtun FBLA members earned the honor to go to Nationals and represent the Haxtun chapter this summer in Chicago.

Top results from State FBLA are as follows: Aly Lock, Brayden Clark and Michael Gerk, Local Chapter Annual Business Report, State Champion; Cassidy Goddard, Introduction to Business Procedures, second; Allie Thompson, Ella Coffin and Owen Knode, Partnership with Business, second; Kelsie Hadeen, Bobbi Starkebaum and Emily Anderson, Introduction to Business Presentation, third; Azariah Calderon, Community Service Project, third; and Samantha Seger, American Enterprise, fourth.

Also recognized in the top 10 was K'lyn Bornhoft in Accounting 2.

While at the State event, Haxtun incoming senior Brayden Clark was elected as a State FLBA officer for the coming year. He will serve as the District 4 Vice President.
