Haxtun VB season underway; roster includes 3 returning starters

RETURNING STARTERS on this year's Lady Bulldog varsity volleyball team Bobbi Starkebaum, Megan Walker and Cassidy Goddard.
The Haxtun Lady Bulldogs kicked of the 2022 season with the annual Sedgwick County tournament last week. This year's team boasts 29 players under the direction of Head Coach Don Schelling and Assistant Coaches Marissa Schelling and McCall Etl. Don Schelling is in his first season as head coach following his role as an assistant coach for the team last season.
The Lady Bulldogs went 1-2 in Sedgwick County last week. The team faced off with Briggsdale, Sedgwick County and Flatirons Academy in the Saturday morning tournament. Haxtun picked up a four-set win over Flatirons Academy but fel...
