Dona Mae (Green) West Lightsey died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022 at the age of 91.

Dona was born to Henry and Marie Green on Feb. 3, 1931 in Fleming, where she grew up on the family farm and graduated from Fleming Schools in 1949. April 4, 1953 she was married to Robert (Bob) West in Sterling. They had two sons Paul and David. Bob died in 1995 and Dona was remarried to Wilbur Lightsey in 2001 who passed in 2017.

Dona loved nursing, horses, knitting, dancing, camping, boating, fishing and volunteering for the activities her boys were involved in. Dona was a nurse for Logan County Hospital...
