Top spellers move onto Regionals

TOP SPELLERS from the Haxtun Spelling Bee, pictured above (l-r), Jayce Boerner, Xavier Farrell, Taivyn Bullard and Kira Christensen will move onto the Regional round slated for Feb. 8 in Brush. Christenson took top honors in the Haxtun Spelling Bee as the first place winner with Farrell placing second and Bullard coming in third. Boerner will attend as an alternate.
The Haxtun Spelling Bee was held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the Haxtun Community Center.
