Haxtun FBLA Chapter finds success District Leadership Conference

HAXTUN FBLA members at the District Leadership Conference at Northeastern Junior College last week.

The Haxtun FBLA Chapter had a successful day at the District Leadership Conference held at Northeastern Junior College last week. Students spent the day competing in live presentations or participating in workshops put on by local students. This year, 58 students attended the conference.

The following are the results of the objective tests and the live presentations. 

Advertising: Tyler Mavis*, sixth place, Trent Wernsman; Jake tori, seventh place.

Agribusiness: Brock Miller*, first place.

Business Calculations: Jerron Turney*, first place.

Business Communications: Megan Walker, seventh place.

Business Law: Megan Walker, 10th place.

Cyber Security: Joseph Helfer, ninth place.

Digital Animation: Seth Seger, Carter Lock and Zach Statz*, first place.

E-Business: Emily Anderson and Kelsie Hadeen*, first place.

Future Business Leader: Aly Lock*, first place.

Health Care Administration: Aly Lock*, first place.

Brayden Clark will represent Haxtun as District IV State Officer.
