110-POUND SENIOR Aliyah Engle became the first Sedgwick County/Fleming female wrestler to qualify for the State Tournament after making a fourth place showing at the Region Three Tournament in Broomfield last weekend. Engle finished the Regional Tournament at 4-2 in her division.

Six wrestlers from the boys' team also qualified to compete at State. The State Wrestling Tournament is slated for Thursday, Feb. 16-Saturday, Feb. 18 at Ball Arena in Denver. For more wrestling coverage, turn to pages 10 and 11.
