Early morning fire claims garage on Fletcher Street

HAXTUN VOLUNTEER Firemen Nick Bellendir, Ryan Horton and Chief Garrett Krogmeier look over what is left following an early morning garage fire on Thursday morning, Feb. 16. The fire was in the garage of a house located at the corner of Logan Avenue and Fletcher Street. As of early this week, cause of the fire has not been made public. The garage contained several vehicles and a Harley motorcycle as well as a collection of model airplanes. The fire touched another building located south of the garage but the house was saved with minimal fire and smoke damage on the west side....
