Lady Wildcats close regular season at 1-1; enter Districts at #2

LADY WILDCAT freshman Ciana Lousberg draws a foul from Sedgwick County's Lainee Nein during Fleming's final home contest of the season on Thursday, Feb. 16.

The Fleming Lady Wildcats have clenched the second seed heading into District 4 action later this week. They wrapped up the regular season with a home loss to the Sedgwick County Lady Cougars and a road win over the Idalia Lady Wolves. With an overall record of 12-6, the Lady Wildcats fall a spot behind the 17-2 Briggsdale Lady Falcons entering the post season.

The Lady Wildcats got off to a slow start in the opening quarter against Sedgwick County on Thursday night. They trailed by nine after the first and by 11 at the half.
