On March 29-31 Haxtun FCCLA students attended the Northeastern Plains District Career and Leadership Conference. This conference was led by district officers and advisers from Haxtun, Holyoke, Yuma, Akron, Merino, Sterling and Wray. The District chose to put on it's own conference due to too many conflicts with Easter weekend and State FBLA being at the same time.
Highlights of the conference included keynote Adam Carriker, former Nebraska Husker and eight years in the NFL playing for the Redskins and Rams, appearances on Fox News, and father of six. He discussed adversity and how to...
