Norman N. Duell went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 17, 2023, surrounded by his family at the age of 88.

He was born on Jan. 14, 1935 in Ruleton, Kan., the youngest of eleven children. Norm served his country in the Korean War, and after finishing a college degree, pursued a career in insurance. His priorities were family, church and music.

He is survived by his wife, Harriett, of 64 years; children Rebecca Abrahamson, Linnea Bonenberger, Matthew Duell and Andrew Duell and their spouses; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister and multiple nephews and nieces.

Per his request, interment of his remains will be a private graveside ceremony for immediate family only. Arrangements have been made through Baucke Funeral Home. The community is invited to an open house on Sunday, May 28, from 2-4 p.m. at 36548 County Road 23 in Holyoke.
