William "Bill" Lloyd Carwin passed away peacefully at home in Fleming on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the age of 78.

Bill was born July 29, 1944 in Sterling to Ronald N. Carwin and Dorothy (Davis) Carwin – Sawdey. He attended schools in Ogden, Utah graduating from Ogden High School in 1962. In 1963 Bill was employed as a pressman/typesetter at the Keith County News in Ogallala, Neb. From 1963 to 1971 he was also employed by the Tribune Centennial in Grant, Neb., the Fort Morgan Times and the Holyoke Enterprise, Holyoke.
