Brent C. Jeffers passed away in Sidney, Neb. on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the age of 68.

Brent was born on Oct. 18, 1954, and grew up on a farm northeast of Haxtun. He was educated in the Haxtun school system. Upon graduation he attended Northeastern Junior College where he met the love of his life, Patty Firkins. The couple were married on Dec. 7, 1974, and moved to Gunnison, where Brent attended Western State College.
