June 15, 1938

At the last quarterly conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Haxtun, held here last Sunday, the attendance ranked with the largest in the Greeley District this year. By a standing vote, the Rev. Alexander Bryans was given a unanimous invitation to return as pastor for another year.

Answering a charge of reckless driving with a plea of guilty, Claire Groover was fined five dollars and costs in Justice of the Peace R.C. Kautter's court here Tuesday afternoon.
