Aug. 10, 1938
Miss Eileen Riley of Haxtun and Floyd Royle of Fleming, were married in Sterling last Sunday at the Methodist parsonage. The Rev. H.L. Elston perform the ceremony.
Friday of next week is Circus Day in Haxtun with Barney Bros. three-ring wild animal circus coming to town. Regular admission price is 30 cents and 60 cents, but by obtaining guest tickets from merchants, the price is 15 cents on a child's ticket and 30 on an adult ticket.
North County Line News - Threshing has been the order of the day in this community. Several horses are having a seige of sleep...
