The Haxtun Public Library distributed Certificates of Friendship to several of the children participating in Summer Reading. Based from the book "The Friendship Fairy" written by Amanda Provins, the friendship fairy received her fairy wings for being a good friend to many fairies at her school. The children then had the opportunity to let the librarian know their acts of kindness to receive their certificate.
