Wayne O. "Jack" Falk, Haxtun, passed away Sept. 12, 2023 at the age of 95.

Jack was born in a "Sod House" in Dawson County, near Sumner, Neb. on Sept. 15, 1927 to Silas and Elvira (Mellberg) Falk. Jack came to Colorado when he was two years old with his parents and his sister Edna Glee (Orcutt) in 1929. The family moved 12 miles north of Haxtun, where he farmed for many years. His sister Doris E. (Koester) was born in 1934.

In 1960, he married Patricia Maggard, they made their home on the farm for a few years, where they welcomed Roger Wayne Falk in 1965 and Linda Joanna Falk in 1976. In 1969...
