The 102nd annual parade kicked off Saturday morning just as the fog lifted and the sun began to shine. Results from the 2023 Haxtun Corn Festival Parade are as follows:
Kiddie Parade
Miscellaneous: Hallie Hiller, first; Addi Anderson and Jaxy Fix, second; Carter Teak, third.
Fifth grade and up: Gavin Petersen, first.
Third and fourth grade: Carrot Brogan, first; Cadence Kilpatrick, second, Mollie Ham, third.
First and second grade: Amber Edwards, first; Wally Matz, second; Hattie Meyers, third.
Preschool and Kindergarten: Nolan Kelly, first; Quincy Stone, second; Sylar Gorman, third.
Parade
Youth: Class of 2025, Sweepstakes; Class of 2026, first; Class of 2024, second; Class of 2027, third.
Clubs and organizations: FFA, first.
Businesses: SmokeTrails, first; Melissa Memorial Hospital, second; Vine Print Studios, third.
Horses: Best Dressed Male, Chuck Dvorak; Best Dressed Female, Larimer County Fair Queen; Best Group, Haynes Family.
