Janice "Jan" Illene Gibbs passed away June 12, 2023 in California.

Janice was born in Haxtun to Everette and Minnie (Becker) Gibbs on June 8, 1941. She graduated from Haxtun High School in 1959. After graduation Janice attended Northeastern Junior College in Sterling and then graduated from Colorado State University in 1964. She taught physical education in Annaheim, Calif. before accepting positions as Recreation Center Director at United States military bases in Korea and Germany.
