Only two games remain on the regular season schedule before playoffs start later this fall.

Haxtun shut out Dayspring Christian Academy on their home turf Saturday afternoon after the Bulldogs went up 28 points in the first quarter. The visiting team added an additional 14 in the second quarter to hold a 42-point advantage at half time. Another six points in the final quarter gave the Bulldogs their seventh win this season to put them in the number three spot in Colorado High School Activities Association live RPI rankings.

Currently, Simla holds the number one spot with a similar 7-0 record and Mancos sits number two with a 6-1 record. Haxtun holds credit for Mancos’s one loss this season.
