The Lady Bulldogs are gearing up for a busy week of basketball action before the team rests for Christmas break in a few weeks. This week's schedule includes the annual Holiday Tournament at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling.
Last weekend, the Lady Bulldogs took on Caliche at home in a Saturday afternoon contest. Haxtun put 13 points on the board in the first quarter and eight in the second to hold a 21-15 advantage at half time. The Lady Buffs outscored the Lady Bulldogs by one in the third but Haxtun maintained the advantage heading into the final minutes of play. Quick shooting by the...
