The Haxtun Police Department registered a sex offender within Haxtun's city limits on Jan. 5. Patrick Lee Pittman is registered in the 200 block of West Grant Street.
Pittman, 33, was convicted in June 2013 of attempted sex assault on a child in a position of trust in Yuma County. He is required to register as a sex offender annually.
